Indigenous Parliament – BTN

It was about a girl named Audrey. She and 49 other indigenous kids were going to the Parliament house to discuss things. She made a speech, they debated lots of topics like recognizing Indigenous Australians as the first Australians.

My first fact is that indigenous people face a lot of problems. Even if some of Parliament is trying to make a difference. Next is that in history only 28 indigenous Australians have become members of parliament. And it was just like real parliament. Rowdy.

I understand that 28 Australian indigenous is NOT enough. Secondly I KNOW that some indigenous are fighting for land rights and stuff and at least some of the politicians are noticing.

I wonder why they don’t notice indigenous Australians? They were here first, right? Shouldn’t they be in charge?
